Types of Assessment

 

Here you can find out about the different types of Quest for Facilities (FM) assessment.

Quest Recovery is a new assessment type, which will be available from 1st April until 1st September 2022. This new assessment replaces Quest Prime (Recovery), which was written to support the sector during the pandemic.

 

Quest Recovery

  • This includes a mystery visit and a 1-day assessment, and registration lasts for 12 months.
  • This assessment is focused on helping the leisure industry transition out of the pandemic and into a recovery/development phase
  • The assessment is conducted against the 7 Recovery Core Modules
  • The cost is £1150 Plus VAT
  • The bandings are either Unsatisfactory, Satisfactory, Good, Very Good and Excellent. 

 

Quest Recovery Plus

  • This includes a mystery visit and a 2-day assessment, and registration lasts for 12 months.
  • This assessment is focused on helping the leisure industry transition out of the pandemic and into a recovery/development phase
  • The assessment is conducted against the 7 Recovery Core Modules and 5 optional modules.
  • The cost is £1450 plus VAT
  • The bandings are either Unsatisfactory, Satisfactory, Good, Very Good and Excellent.

 

Quest Entry 

  • This includes a mystery visit and a 1-day assessment, which is due every 12 months.
  • The assessment is conducted against the 8 Facility Core Modules of Purpose, People and Operations.
  • The cost is £1150 per year
  • The bandings are either Unsatisfactory or Registered. 

 

Quest Plus

Quest Plus takes place over 2 years, with an assessment in year 1 and review in year 2.

Year 1

  • This includes a mystery visit and a 2 day assessment.
  • The assessment is conducted against the 8 Facility Core Modules on day 1 and 5 choice modules on day 2.
    • The 5 choice modules must include a minimum of 3 GPLUS modules and include 1 'Compulsory' module
  • The cost is £1450
  • The bandings are Unsatisfactory, Satisfactory, Good, Very Good or Excellent.

Year 2

  • This includes a 1 day unannounced review and either an NBS efficiency survey or a full mystery visit (dependent on facilities).
  • The cost is £1150 plus VAT

 

Quest 2022 (from 1st September 2022)

Our new assessment, which launches in later this year will be the only assessment type available from 1st September 2022.

  • All facilities will complete a mystery visit, and can choose between a 1-Day Assessment or 2-Day Assessment, with the following core modules for Day 1:
    • Compliance Declaration
    • Operational Management
    • Environmental Management
    • Managing the Team
    • Customer Journey
    • Tackling Inequalities
