Juliette Dickinson
Experience
- 40 years + experience and passion for working in the leisure industry, mainly within the public and social enterprise/charitable sector.
- Juliette became Managing Director of a newly formed Leisure Trust in 2004, establishing Tone Leisure as a progressive and well regarded leisure operator in Somerset and Devon.
- Responsible for strategically repositioning Tone Leisure and negotiating a merger with GLL, in 2015 she became a Regional Director, setting up a new region in the South West and Wales.
- Experienced in bidding for and mobilising large scale contracts, most notably Cornwall and Cardiff.
- Board Director experience with Tone Leisure (Group, Taunton Deane and South Hams), Cornwall County Sports Partnership, and Jubilee Pool Penzance.

Interests
- Since retiring in 2019 I have requalified as a swimming teacher and open water swim coach and enjoy teaching both adults and children on a part-time basis.
- Juliette thrives on keeping fit and taking on fitness challenges, with particular passion for open water swimming, swim/run and trail running. Swimming around the Isles of Scilly (in a day) has been one of the most iconic experiences.
- She has recently become a volunteer for the Cinnamon Trust undertaking some dog walking for the elderly/terminally ill/disabled, and helping people to keep their furry friends for as long as possible.
