Ryan Walker

Ryan started in the leisure industry 20+ years ago as a lifeguard at the iconic Commonwealth Pool in Manchester gaining extensive knowledge over the years resulting in him becoming Partnership Manager overseeing five National Venues and two Regional Arena’s resulting in him playing an instrumental role in ensuring the Elite Training Centres were operationally astute & Covid Secure to enable the Elite Return to Training Programme could be facilitated in the lead up to Tokyo Olympic Games which resulted in a letter of gratitude from Sally Munday – CEO of UK Sport.
He has worked at Right Directions since January 2022 in role of Health & Safety Support Manager and Quest Assessor.

I cherish spending quality time with my family, whether it's enjoying meals together, going on outings, or simply relaxing at home.
Basketball is a big part of my life—I love both watching games and coaching, as it allows me to stay involved in the sport and help others develop their skills.
I'm also a passionate supporter of Stockport County and hold a season ticket, attending matches regularly to cheer on the team.
In addition to my love for sports, I have a deep appreciation for cooking, experimenting with new recipes, and creating delicious meals for family and friends.
